About
Who we are
We are Rob and Cy Wiebe — YWAM missionaries dedicated with our son Elias to Ending Bible Poverty.

Meet our family
Dean, College of Bible Engagement
Rob Wiebe
Rob grew up in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and answered an early call into missions that took him through Zambia, Mexico, and a School of Biblical Studies in Chile. There he met Cy; they married in Venezuela in December 2006 and soon left for northern Thailand. In Chiang Rai he helped plant a School of Biblical Studies, led DTS seasons, and eventually base life—then pioneered house-to-house Scripture access that grew into Thai SourceView distribution and the Share Bibles vision. To serve languages worldwide he learned to build what others would not: digital tools like SourceView for Ending Bible Poverty. After a Kona season with Innovations for Transformation, the family moved to Quebec to pioneer a French/English SBS. Today Rob serves as Dean of the College of Bible Engagement at the University of the Nations—a new chapter announced on video—multiplying pathways for front-liners while still teaching Scripture across the nations, including the Walk of Discovery course. You can follow more of the journey on our timeline.
Pioneer · College Builders Team
Cy Wiebe
Cy’s roots are in Venezuela. She met Rob at YWAM Chile, shared the call to Thailand, and has taught the Bible nearly every place they have lived—SBS books, DTS themes, and inductive study that helps people hear God for themselves. Through Chiang Rai years of raising Elias on a training base, then Kona tool-building for Ending Bible Poverty, and now Quebec, she has walked pioneering leadership with deep attentiveness to questions that transform discipleship. She completed a Master of Arts in Global Pioneering Leadership with the University of the Nations—watch her thesis presentation—and serves on the College of Bible Engagement Builders Team—helping shape how the next generation of Bible-engaging missionaries is formed—while continuing to teach Scripture locally and internationally through our courses. More of her story is on our timeline.
Missionary kid · Next generation voice
Elias Wiebe
Elias was born in Chiang Rai, Thailand, in 2010 and has grown up in the middle of the call: base life in northern Thailand, innovation years in Kona, and pioneering community in Quebec. Along the way he learned to read the Bible for himself, traveled with his parents into ministry, and began to serve—teaching on baptism, joining worship at YWAM Dunham, and speaking about why Ending Bible Poverty matters to his generation. At gatherings like the YWAM Americas conference in Panama, he stands with Rob and Cy as a young voice for Scripture access among the nations. Follow his story on our timeline.
