Who We Are
We are Rob and Cy Wiebe, and for over 20 years, our family has served as missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) across South America, Asia, and North America.
Currently, I (Rob) serve as the Dean of the College of Bible Engagement at the University of the Nations, where I oversee the development of educational pathways for people to engage with God through the Scriptures. Cy is an integral part of our leadership team and recently earned her Masters in Global Pioneering Leadership, focusing her research on how question-asking transforms discipleship.
Together with our son Elias, we are dedicated to a single, unified mission: Ending Bible Poverty.
What is Bible Poverty?
To us, Bible poverty is the lack of access to the Scriptures in a person's heart language or in a format they can actually understand.
While there are approximately 8,000 languages in the world, over 2,000 languages still have zero Bible translation, meaning millions of people cannot yet hear the truth that "God is love" in their mother tongue.
Our vision is to see the entire Bible made available to every individual on earth in their own language and appropriate format by the year 2033.
How We Are Ending Bible Poverty
We believe ending Bible poverty requires a comprehensive strategy of prayer, translation, publishing, distribution, education, and motivation. We facilitate this mission through several key initiatives:

Strategic Distribution
Through the Share Bibles app, which I (Rob) developed after teams in Thailand told me we needed a better way to track our progress, we use GPS technology to map Bible distribution home-to-home. This ensures that we "go after the one" and no household is missed.

Deep Bible Engagement
We promote the Source View Bible, a unique four-color format (where different colors represent different speakers) designed for group reading. It moves Bible engagement from a solitary act to a communal experience where people encounter God together.

Global Education
We lead the School of Biblical Studies (SBS), a nine-month intensive where students study all 66 books of the Bible to know God's heart and nature for themselves.

Multiplying Leaders
In my role as Dean, I now work to multiply the influence of missionaries globally. Instead of just teaching one classroom, I am coaching leaders and building learning pathways to empower others to end Bible poverty in their own contexts.
Our Heart and Mission
Our goal goes beyond providing information; we seek to facilitate life-changing encounters between people and the God of the Bible.
We believe that every tribe, nation, and language should have the opportunity to know Him, and we are committed to being the generation that completes this mission.
Everything we do is driven by the conviction that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord should fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.
