Elias turned 15 years old on October 2nd

Cy celebrated her birthday just a few days later on October 7th. She’s as beautiful today as when we got married!

Cy taught a week in the Discipleship Training School (DTS) on the topic of “The Fear of the LORD.”

Rob also taught a week in the same school on the topic of “The Nature and Character of God.”

Elias is getting involved with the worship team as well, contributing his strength of musical talent to the community.

Cy was teaching the book of Acts in the School of Biblical Studies at YWAM Kona, Hawaii.

Cy was teaching the book of Acts in the School of Biblical Studies at YWAM Kona, Hawaii.

Rob was teaching in the Discipleship Bible School (DBS) at YWAM San Salvador. It was the week that covered the Post-Exilic period and the inter-testamental period. (Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah & Malachi)

Isn’t this the coolest classroom ever? We were literally in a jungle!

The base leaders, Fran & Judy, took us to an amazing lookout… with great food!

We gathered in Costa Rica 🇨🇷  for two (2) main reasons:

1. YWAM’s University of the Nations had a gathering of leaders in the Americas

Rob was one of the leaders sharing about the new systems being implemented globally and the opportunities that we have before us as a missionary multiplying university.

This is about 3/4 of the International Builders Team for the College of Bible Engagement. This team is carrying the responsibility to develop the college into the future (new courses, degrees, ministries, languages, locations, resources, etc.).

The base leaders, Giacomo & Marjolein Coghi, hosted a special meal for our team!

Rob was teaching again in the Discipleship Bible School (DBS) for their final week, covering the literature written by the apostle John.

Cy & Elias had a long layover in Panama 🇵🇦 and took advantage to explore downtown. Elias also collects hats from all the countries that he visits, so we had to get a “Panama Hat”!

We were invited as speakers at the international conference for YWAM Caribbean (Colombia 🇨🇴 / Venezuela 🇻🇪)

We were invited as speakers at the international conference for YWAM Caribbean (Colombia 🇨🇴 / Venezuela 🇻🇪)

There were ~200 YWAM staff at the gathering from all over the region.

These ⬆️  two (2) amazing Venezuelan missionaries serving among the nations! Our friend has been serving in Central Asia for decades!

We also took advantage to connect with long-time friends. Pastor Tico and his family!

The conference speakers are often treated to special meals with friends!

And this might be the best gift we have ever received as guest speakers:

Our anniversary was December 6th. Sometimes the anniversary falls on a travel day, so we remember in an airport during one of our layovers!

But we made sure to celebrate it properly when we arrived home to Canada 🇨🇦
