The Wiebe family did what?

Hey friends and family,

As we shared this summer with many of you in person, our lives are going through a major transition. Our ministry scope is expanding and God has moved us to a new location.

Here’s a short video update we made: https://youtu.be/Ir8ZC3QWs4Q

Over the past 3 and a half years we have been working on a new Bible project in Thailand. We developed a newly formatted Bible in Thai that is designed for people who have never known the Bible or Jesus before. It’s called the Thai SourceView Bible. Since May 2015 we have been distributing the word of God house to house, school to school and temple to temple. We’ve distributed approximately 20,000 Bibles in Thailand over the past 2 years. We’ve been developing a mobile app to record the Bible distribution accurately as well. It’s the first of its kind.

As this project has grown and other churches and organizations get involved, we’ve been requested to multiply what we’re doing in Thai into other languages and nations. With the expanding scope of the SourceView Bible and the Share Bibles app going internationally, our roles are changing to facilitate that growth. We have been invited to join a team that is focused on Bible Innovations on a global scale in Kona, Hawaii which will allow us to facilitate our projects internationally better.

After praying about this with our local YWAM leadership and community in Thailand, we believe that God has led us to take this invitation and new role in this season of our lives. On October 16th we left Thailand and moved to the YWAM base in Kona, Hawaii. We’ll be based here, serving the different nations and languages that are engaged with Ending Bible Poverty around the world.

We’re currently living in the YWAM base. Cy and Elias have joined a homeschool co-op and I am working full-time with David Hamilton on the Bible projects.

We’re excited about what God has for our family and our ministry in this new season of life. We appreciate the support that our church family has provided for us. Thank you!

God bless you as you continue to walk in obedience to God’s voice in your context.
