God continues to move mountains!

Greetings from Chiang Rai!

God did His miracles one more time for us as a family. We shared our need for God’s provision in order to get tickets to Kona, Hawaii. Within 9 days of that newsletter God moved the entire mountain for us. We have bought our tickets already and we leave on April 3rd from Chiang Mai. We are constantly amazed at God’s continuous provision for his will for our lives. I’ve heard it said before, “When it’s God will, He’ll pay the bill.” Sometimes we think God has done such an amazing work in the past, like going to Africa and it was such a huge miracle. Can we still be surprised by His miracles? And yet, as we have chosen to follow our God to Kona, Hawaii He has proven Himself again and again, from visas to tickets and more. As you can see, we want to give glory to our God because He has provided for us again and again. We also want to thank all of you who have given towards this journey of ours. God has risen up His people from all over the world to support this step: Thailand, Korea, Australia, Colombia, Canada, USA & more. What a privilege to be a part of God’s global family.

Now, for a little description of what we will be doing there. We are working together with a man named David Hamilton. For the last 20 years he has been doing Bible research in His free time, re-formatting the Bible (see The SourceView Bible), studying the Scriptures with regards to what God says and does in the different spheres of society and also observing all of the actions of God. He is gathering others to join him in these studies, producing material and resources for the body of Christ. David has invited us to participate in these studies, helping him accomplish some of his goals. So, we will be studying the Bible with the intent of producing materials to serve the body of Christ globally. We’re really excited about this opportunity and are ready for a new experience. Overall, we truly believe that this trip is going to refresh us, renew our vision and empower us with a greater ability to teach the Word of God and disciple the nations. Thank you for your prayers and support and emails of encouragement. They are always welcome.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Relationship with God – We want to continue to grow in our love for Him and in our walk with Him on a daily basis. We ask specifically that you would pray for greater revelation of who He is as we spend the next 3 months studying His word.
2. Health – Elias recently had a bladder infection and he’s been up and down over the last few months. We’d love to have some stability in health for him and us as a family.
3. The YWAM Chiang Rai Base – we are leaving a group of leaders behind to keep the base moving forward. We ask that you would pray for wisdom and unity and strength as they take on greater initiative without us being there. We really want to see a greater move of God in Chiang Rai and we know that if our base continues to seek God that He will touch many hearts and bring about change. Pray that God would take our YWAM community deeper into His presence and further in the establishment of His kingdom.
4. Finances – Praise God for what He has done through providing for us. Thank Him for being faithful to care for us as He leads us like His sheep.
