Greetings to everyone in this season of celebrating the first coming of the Son of God!
We’re all looking forward to the different celebrations that occur around the world and participating in them with the family of God.

This month we have a few great updates to share with you (extra pics at the end):

Tongue twister:
A short while ago I, Rob, was explaining some plans with a couple from Thailand who staff with us. I was trying to tell them that on a Friday we were going to decorate the base for Christmas. However, I mixed up the words for decorating and ended up telling them that we will all get dressed together on Friday. Oops!

Bibles Printed!
This past month we ordered a new batch of Thai SourceView Bibles. Thanks to the generosity of a church in Bangkok we were able to almost double the amount printed last time. This time we printed 14,000 Bibles and they should be arriving just before Christmas!

This is what we’re calling our “foundation stock.” All of these Bibles will be
1. Sold by retail through a legal business entity that works with Christian bookstores in Thailand
2. Passed on to churches and ministries that want to distribute the Bibles among non-Christians. They will require a minimum donation (the cost of printing them).

DISCIPLING THE NATIONS
This past October we saw 4 students graduate from our School of Biblical Studies. They finished the 9 month course that Cy pioneered when we first arrived. They inductively studied the entire Bible book by book, observing, interpreting and, most importantly, applying it to their lives.

This coming 11th we’ll also see 6 students graduate from our Discipleship Training School, which is a 6 month course facilitating the process of knowing God personally and personally making Him known through missions.

It’s fun to watch God bring the nations to us and it’s an honor to release them into their next steps with God after a short season of training. God has been developing us through living together and seeking Him and His will as a community.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Health – we’ve been getting better, but Cy still has some random nerve pains. We’re also entering cold season which usually comes accompanied by a flu bug.
2. Wisdom – it seems like we’re always facilitating some sort of transition in our leadership. We could really use prayer for wisdom from on high which is the wisdom that produces fruit that will remain.
3. Finances – we’ve been praying for an increase in monthly support for over a year and we could really use the help. God has been faithful through these times, though, providing unexpectedly. Click here to give easily & securely online.
4. Family – Rob’s parents are coming to visit us during the holidays. We plan to have fun and continue to strengthen the relationships that are closest to us.
