We just returned back to Thailand from our 3-month trip to Chile and Canada to visit family & friends. Some highlights were…

  • Having all of Cy's family together for the first time in 11 years
  • Speaking Spanish and living in Latin culture again for 6 weeks
  • Teaching in the YWAM Base in Pichilemu, Chile
  • Recruiting both Latinos and North Americans to come to Thailand as missionaries
  • Spending a week vacation with all of Rob's family
  • Preaching in South Abbotsford Church & Youth Church
  • Catching up with friends and supporters
  • Elias learned to walk while in Canada (at 9 months)

Up-coming plans/events

  • Teaching (Chiang Rai, Bangkok, Philippines)
  • YWAM Seminar at the base (October)
  • School of Biblical Studies (starting January 2012)

Prayer needs: personal growth in God; health & financial stability; wisdom; boldness in teaching & evangelism; more long-term staff; gospel received among Thais in Chiang Rai.
