And we’re on our way…
Greetings friends and family,
We are about to embark on a busy ministry journey over the course of the next 9 weeks. We thank God for His miraculous provision thus far. Here is the break down of our schedule:
March 16-20 (Mae Sai, Thailand): Rob is teaching in the DTS (topic: Spiritual Warfare)
March 21-April 2 (Phang Nga, Thailand): We are both teaching a week in the DTS (Cy: Bible Overview, Rob: Spiritual Warfare)
April 3-May 17 (Kona, Hawaii): We are serving the Bible project that we have been helping with since last year. We’ll be spending those 6 weeks with a team of Bible Scholars, going through the final draft (hopefully) of the SphereView Bible. It’s a digital Bible that will be able to guide people to the words, passages and genres of the Bible that pertain to a certain sphere of society: Family, Arts & Entertainment, Government, Religion, Education, Communication, & Economy. The app could come out this year.

We could use a lot of prayer over these 9 weeks.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Health – while our health hasn’t been bad lately, thanks to God and your prayers, Cy is suffering with a lack of sleep (can’t sleep at night and when she sleeps she doesn’t rest). Also we really don’t want to have a bug or anything during these teaching and traveling weeks.
2. Presence – God’s presence is what truly accomplishes His work through us. We desire that His presence be strong in our teaching times and in our study times. We desire to grow in our intimacy with Him and our daily walk with Him.
3. Finances – Praise God for His miraculous provision thus far. We just bought discounted tickets for us to get to Hawaii as a family ($5,000CDN). We couldn’t believe how much the tickets were this time around. We’re currently trusting God for our living expenses in Kona, Hawaii ($2,200USD = $2,800CDN+). Donations click here
4. Strength – We’ve done similar trips in the past and we know the toll it takes on our bodies and minds. Please pray for God’s strength as we aim to serve and love him with all of our strength.
PRAISE HIM:
We’ve been able to branch out in our efforts to share and show the gospel in our surrounding neighbourhood. As a YWAM staff group God has led us to do 4 main ministries this year:
1. Kids’ Club: we have gathered about 27 kids in our immediate neighbourhood once a week to teach them God’s word and have some fun doing it.

2. House visits: some of the staff are visiting 3 families that are infected with HIV/AIDS right now on a weekly basis. Two of these families have opened up a lot to us and the gospel, one lady even asking to become a Christian this last week.
3. University Students: some of our staff have built friendships and continue to meet with some university students who desire to have cultural and language exchange with us. They have strong connections and are sharing the gospel through their friendships.
4. Bible Study at a local church: There are a team of staff on base that have started a long-term Bible at the church closest to the base. We didn’t plan this one, but the pastor just asked for it one Sunday and the staff responded.
Praise God with us for His ideas and ways to reach our neighbours with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ.
